UAE launches 5 training programs with financial aid for private sector citizens

The UAE Talent Competitiveness Council (NAFES) has launched five transformative training programs aimed at bolstering the capabilities and competitiveness of Emirati nationals within the private sector.

Enhanced Training Programs for UAE Citizens

These initiatives are strategically designed to provide financial support and professional development opportunities, ensuring that UAE citizens are equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in various industries.

Central to NAFES's efforts is the "On-the-Job Training Program," which offers significant financial aid to Emirati graduates pursuing practical training in the private sector. This program provides monthly stipends of up to 8,000 dirhams for those holding bachelor’s degrees or higher qualifications. Additionally, the "Experience Program" facilitates vocational training allowances tailored for recent Emirati graduates entering private and semi-private companies across a wide spectrum of business sectors.

Commitment to National Development

NAFES is committed to advancing the private sector's capabilities in line with global business standards. By fostering a skilled and competitive workforce, NAFES aims to attract and retain Emirati talent through targeted training initiatives and employment programs. These efforts not only support economic diversification but also contribute to sustainable national development.

NAFES has introduced specialized training initiatives tailored to meet critical sector needs. The "Health Sector Cadre Development Program" aims to recruit and train 10,000 Emiratis in various medical specialties by 2026. This program includes full scholarships and monthly stipends for enrolled citizens, ensuring robust career opportunities within the healthcare industry.

The "Teachers Program" is another cornerstone initiative aimed at preparing Emirati nationals for roles in the private education sector. This program seeks to appoint 4,000 citizens by 2027, equipping them with the essential skills and professional certifications required for teaching and administrative positions. By investing in educational excellence, NAFES supports the growth and quality of private education in the UAE.

Skills Enhancement through the Kafaat Program

The "Kafaat Program" focuses on enhancing workforce skills through specialized training aligned with industry demands. Emirati participants benefit from free training programs designed in collaboration with accredited training providers. Upon completion, participants receive professional certificates recognized within sectors such as technology, healthcare, finance, and retail. This initiative aims to elevate workforce readiness and competitiveness across key economic sectors.

NAFES collaborates closely with private sector employers to promote the recruitment and retention of Emirati nationals. Participating companies are eligible for a range of financial incentives and benefits aimed at fostering inclusive employment practices. Detailed information on available incentives and application procedures can be accessed through NAFES's official platform, ensuring transparency and accessibility for interested organizations.

NAFES's comprehensive training programs represent a pivotal investment in the future of Emirati talent and the broader economy. By providing financial support and targeted development opportunities, NAFES empowers UAE citizens to excel in competitive global markets while contributing to the sustainable growth of the private sector. These initiatives not only enhance individual career prospects but also strengthen the UAE's position as a hub for innovation and talent development in the region. Through strategic partnerships and proactive policies, NAFES continues to drive forward the national objectives of economic diversification and workforce empowerment.
