Emirates unveils Wimbledon sponsorship with live tennis and in-flight indulgence

Emirates, which is well-known for providing opulent air travel, has entered the tennis scene with a major move when it was named The Championships, Wimbledon's Official Airline Partner.

With this renowned cooperation, Emirates will compete in one of the world's most prominent sporting events for the first time, which takes place from July 1–14 at The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Unveiling the Emirates Wimbledon Experience

Emirates has unveiled a spectacular A380 airplane livery using the classic Wimbledon logo surrounded by dynamic silhouettes of athletes in action to mark its arrival into this elite sporting arena. On July 1, when the plane lands at London Heathrow and the year's third Grand Slam officially begins, this unique decal will make its debut.

Emirates' specially adorned A380 will fly to important locations throughout The Championships, such as New York (JFK), Manchester, London Heathrow, and Zurich. The president of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and emphasized the airline's dedication to fostering relationships with tennis fans across the globe.

In July, Emirates intends to infuse the Wimbledon atmosphere throughout all of its flights to and from the UK. First and Business Class travelers will have strawberries and cream in addition to other specialties, while Economy and Premium Economy travelers will enjoy sweets like cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote. All of the cabins will have better travel experiences thanks to headrests with Wimbledon themes and branded drink coasters.

Emirates will have its "Emirates Experience" exhibit at The All England Club, with hands-on activities and exclusive giveaways, including opportunities to win trips to Dubai via Emirates Holidays. Young tennis fans can connect with the sponsorship by playing on the Emirates-branded obstacle courses and tennis courts in the virtual "Wimbleworld" on Roblox.

Using the airline's in-flight entertainment system, Ice, which is accessible throughout its fleet and in special lounges in Dubai and the UK, travelers traveling with Emirates during Wimbledon may watch live matches. This program demonstrates Emirates' commitment to giving sports fans a flawless experience both on the ground and in the air.

A Legacy of Tennis Sponsorship

Emirates' sponsorship of Wimbledon adds to its illustrious tennis portfolio, which includes partnerships with all four Grand Slam tournaments and over 60 other prestigious events annually. The airline's presence extends beyond tennis, with notable partnerships in football, cricket, and sailing, reflecting its commitment to global sports and its diverse customer base.

Emirates' partnership with Wimbledon signifies more than just a sponsorship; it embodies a commitment to excellence, luxury, and global connectivity in the world of sports. As the airline embarks on this new chapter with The Championships, it promises to elevate the experience for tennis fans and travelers alike, reinforcing its status as a premier airline and a key player in the sports sponsorship arena.
