Abu Dhabi Maritime, a division of the AD Ports Group, has recently unveiled the start of submissions for the second installment of the esteemed 'Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards'.

Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards

Marinas spanning the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey are invited to partake in this opportunity to showcase their exceptional standards and accomplishments.

The primary objective of these awards is to acknowledge and celebrate marina facilities that exhibit excellence across a spectrum of criteria. In line with this objective, Abu Dhabi Maritime has introduced new award categories for the current edition, aiming to provide a comprehensive platform that highlights the multifaceted nature of marina excellence.

New Award Categories for 2024

The six distinct categories for the 2024 awards include "Sustainability," "Employer Excellence," "Health & Safety," "Customer Experience," "Innovation," and "Outstanding Marina." Interested participants can submit their entries for the 2024 awards until August 31, allowing ample time for comprehensive submissions.

The finalists for each category will be revealed during the prestigious awards ceremony, slated to take place on November 23, 2024, as part of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS). This event serves as a focal point for the maritime community, offering a platform to showcase advancements, foster collaboration, and recognize excellence within the industry.

The awards ceremony provides an invaluable opportunity for marina professionals, stakeholders, and enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the achievements and innovations driving the maritime sector forward. It also serves as a testament to the commitment of Abu Dhabi Maritime and the AD Ports Group to promote excellence and sustainability within the maritime industry.

As the deadline for submissions approaches, marinas across the region are encouraged to seize this opportunity to highlight their contributions to the industry and showcase their dedication to excellence in various aspects such as sustainability, safety, innovation, and customer experience.

Through initiatives like the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards, the industry continues to evolve, adapt, and thrive, driving economic growth and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in maritime operations and services across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.

In addition to celebrating excellence in marina operations, the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards also strive to embrace diversity and inclusivity within the maritime community. By welcoming participants from across the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey regions, these awards promote collaboration and the exchange of ideas among diverse cultural backgrounds.

This inclusivity not only enriches the awarding process but also contributes to the broader goal of fostering a more interconnected and vibrant maritime industry. By recognizing the unique contributions of marinas from various regions, the awards underscore the importance of embracing diversity as a catalyst for innovation and growth in the maritime sector.
