During the past hours, strong rumors have spread about the separation of the artist Ahmed El Sakka from his wife, Maha Al Saghir, after more than 25 years of marriage.

Following the conclusion of the Ramadan drama season, in which he was starring in the Al-Atawla series, artist Ahmed Al-Sakka made his first public statement to refute the rumors that he and his wife Maha Al-Saghir were divorcing. He emphasized that the reports were unfounded and that his family life is stable.

Ahmed Al-Sakka continued, saying he had no idea why there had been rumors about his divorce from Maha Al-Saghir, particularly at that particular moment when the Al-Atawla series was gaining popularity and the movie Al-Sirb, in which he stars, was about to hit theaters and is regarded as the biggest production of the year.

In a statement to the Al-Arabiya channel, Ahmed Al-Sakka clarified that while he had previously given no thought to the rumors, they had become more persistent in recent times, and he felt that those who had been spreading the story of his alleged separation from his wife Maha Al-Saghir should face legal consequences.

Technically speaking, Ahmed Al-Sakka stated that he had no intention of taking part in the Ramadan 2024 drama. He confirmed that he had informed producer Sadiq Al-Sabah of this, stating that he was mentally and psychologically worn out and that he would like to take a break. However, after speaking with him, he granted his request that the series focus on teamwork rather than heroics.

"I love teamwork, and I always love for a group of stars to share the artistic work with me, so that the work is rich," Ahmed Al-Sakka said, expressing his enthusiasm for collaboration and stating that he is not one of those people who want to present works alone.

Notable events include the 1999 marriage of Ahmed Al-Sakka to media celebrity Maha Al-Saghir, following a few months of courtship that produced three children: Yassin, Nadia, and Hamza.

With the series Al-Atawla, which starred a plethora of celebrities such Tariq Lotfy, Bassem Samra, Zeina, and other artists, Ahmed Al-Sakka was able to achieve remarkable success in the drama race this past Ramadan.
